mentoring and academic guidance
at our sixth form, we have high expectations but ensure students are provided with clear support and guidance. progress is closely monitored through day-to-day contact with tutors and with subject teachers. students in the sixth form are expected to devote at least 15 hours per week to their studies, in addition to their time spent in lessons. in recognition of the significant demands of a-levels and btec courses, it is also expected that students have no more than twelve hours of paid employment. parental engagement is important to us and we will regularly communicate the students’ progress to ensure we can work as a team.
